I am a painter and teacher, though I’m not sure which comes first as I love to do both. There is nothing better than making an object look real on a two dimensional surface. It’s kind of like magic…..It’s intriguing and mysterious and joyful all at the same time. And then there is nothing quite like watching a student grasp a bit of information that unlocks a whole bunch of other information. That’s another kind of magic and it’s just as wonderful!

I hope that through these blogs you will enjoy following what I do, share what I’ve failed at, and enjoy the journey that is part of being an artist.
